When you start with quality you end with quality. Cabinet Innovations represents Wood-Mode and Brookhaven cabinets. They use the best materials and have furniture- quality finishes. Even after 15 to 20 years, the finishes are beautiful.
Look for consistency. Custom factory cabinets are consistent and carry a warranty. Site-built cabinets and finishes are not as consistent and depend solely on the individual carpenter and painter. It’s important to see the door style, feel the finish and experience the ease with which the drawers work prior to purchasing the cabinets.
Examine the warranty. Factory cabinets have warranties and quality companies honor their warranty. For example, Brookhaven’s is for 10 years and Wood-Mode‘s is a limited lifetime warrant. These warranties cover the construction, hardware and finish. From my experience, Brookhaven and Wood-Mode’s warranties are seldom needed but always honored.
The factory-built cabinetry choice is a green choice. These factories are not spewing fumes into the environment— including your personal environment.
