THE BEST PLACE TO BEGIN IS BY WORKING WITH EXPERTS WHO WILL ASK YOU POINTED AND PERTINENT QUESTIONS
FROM THE STARTING POINT

Ask yourself what you want the feel of the room to have — a retro look, warm and cozy, formal?
What colors are already in the room or

What colors do you plan to use?

What durability issues need to be addressed? For instance, do you have children, pets?

Are there health issues, like allergies, that need to be considered when choosing your floors?

What is your lifestyle: Do you entertain a lot? Is there a swimming pool from which wet feet will track into the house?

Is your choice versatile? When you redo the room at some future date, will it still work?

Will the product look good in five or 10 years — or whenever you sell the house?

What is your realistic budget?
Does your choice bring you satisfaction?

Does it create the ambiance you want?
Does it match the vision you have in your mind’s eye?

FLOORS — THE FOUNDATION
OF THE ROOM

THE AMBIANCE OF A ROOM STARTS AT THE BOTTOM.
CHOOSE WISELY.

Offering personalized service, competitive pricing and short
lead time, Traditional Designs walks its customers through
the maze of options, decisions and choices to the flooring
that fits perfectly. Visit the showroom for a chance to see
and touch the elements that will turn your vision into your
dream home. Countertops are also available.

Dave Allum, owner, Traditional Designs, Ltd.

“The flooring choice makes each room feel different. So we begin by working
with our customers to understand what their vision is. Are you updating
a room? Did you buy a house to restore it? Do you have a fireplace that you
want to cuddle in front of? We help you quantify and qualify your dreams.

At Traditional Designs, we sell stone, ceramic, hardwood, laminate
and carpet as flooring options. Before we get too far along, we want to be
sure that we understand each customer’s budget because sometimes you
can feel like a kid in a candy store here—too many wonderful choices. We
can take you through the process and still meet your budget.

Maintenance is another important issue. With stone, you need to maintain
sealants and with hardwoods, you will have to keep up the sheen. Carpets
require daily or weekly vacuuming, plus regular shampooing. Ceramics and
laminates are fairly maintenance free. It all comes down to what you want.”
